Is Your Vehicle's Engine
Consuming Oil and/or Smoking from the Exhaust?
Significantly Reduces Oil Burning in Your Vehicle
If you have to add oil to your engine between oil
changes, then your engine is burning oil. Your rings are not sealing
properly. Your engine is burning the oil
which should be lubricating the engine. Also, combustion
by-products are contaminating your oil which reduces
its lubricating properties.
Please follow these instructions carefully.
Step1: Determine how much oil your engine is using
every 3000-5000 miles.
Don't know: Assume 1 quart usage
per oil change. If you are down a quart after 2000 miles with
one quart of oil stabilizer installed, add another quart of
oil stabilizer. Do not overfill your engine oil past the full
on the dipstick. If you are down 1/2 a quart only add 1/2 quart.
1 quart or less: Replace 1 quart of oil with one
quart of Lucas Oil stabilizer at your oil change
1 to 2 quarts: Replace 2 quarts of oil with
two quarts of Lucas Oil stabilizer at your oil change
Lucas Oil stabilizer usage can range from 20% to 80% of the the
total oil capacity of the engine (including the oil capacity of
20% - new to slightly worn engines (using 1 qt or less per oil
40% - moderate wear (using 2 quarts per oil change)
60% - 80% - extremely worn engines that are putting out clouds
of smoke from the exhaust
Step 2: Determine the Lucas Oil Stabilizer percentage of total
Step3: Purchase a 4-pack from the website (below)
Step 4: Change your oil, being careful
to install the correct amount of stabilizer and engine oil.
Do not overfill. Your mechanic will
do this for you if you do not change your own oil. The 4-pack below
will last from 2 to 4 oil changes, depending on your engine condition,
in most cases.

We used to open our engine up every race to check for
damage and wear. Since we started using Lucas 20-50 Plus
Racing Oil and Lucas Oil Stabilizer we have cut our engine
tear-downs in half and have noticed no visible wear during
our racing season. Our engine builder even commented
on the lack of detectable engine wear when we did our
end of season examination. We are very pleased with Lucas

I used to burn 2 quarts of oil in my Chevy pickup on
a 4 hour drive. One cylinder in the truck was in very
bad shape. I added Lucas Oil Stabilizer and the oil burning
stopped. I am sold on Lucas Oil Stabilizer.
We had a car that would not pass the emissions test
after a complete tuneup and adjustment. We changed the
oil and added a quart of Lucas Oil Stabilizer. The car
passed the emissions test.

Lucas Oil Products Inc. was started by a truck
driver named Forrest Lucas and his wife Charlotte in 1989. Since

What Is Lucas Oil
Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer is a 100% petroleum
product developed and perfected through thousands of hours of
laboratory and field testing. It safely blends with all petroleum
products including synthetic oil and gear oil as well as engine
What can Lucas
Oil Stabilizer do for my vehicle?
Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer eliminates dry
starts and wear in your engine. It extends oil life and lowers
the oil temperature in any engine, gas or diesel. It raises oil
pressure, stops smoking, leaking, knocking, and blow-by in worn
engines. It also eliminates noise, overheating, leaks, and wear
in gear boxes.
For vehicles such as motor homes, farm equipment,
construction equipment, boats, or military equipment, Lucas Oil
Stabilizer is essential. It protects these vehicles from rust,
corrosion, and dry starts caused by long periods of non-use.
Oil change intervals can be extended by at least
50-100% thus paying for the product and making all of the other
benefits a bonus. Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer safeguards
engines, bearings, and gears from being ruined by overheating.
How does Lucas
Oil Stabilizer work?
Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer seals the cylinders
in your engine to keep oil from going up to be burned. It also
keeps the contaminants of the combustion chamber from coming
down to prematurely ruin the oil. By controlling blow-by and
dry starts, the life of an already worn engine can be extended
The additives in Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer
cause it to resist viscosity breakdown (thinning), retain its
lubricity, and shear stability. The combination of these characteristics
is what protects your vehicle in normal and severe conditions.
How much Lucas
Oil Stabilizer do I need?
Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer can be used as
- Engines: approximately 20% of the oil mixture, usually one
quart per oil change
- Badly worn engines: use up to 60 or 80% if necessary.
- Manual transmissions: 25 - 50%
- Differentials: 50-100%
- Transfer Cases: 50-100%
